Alco-Knit Tape 

Alco-Knit Tape is a EMI/EMP dual knitted wire mesh gasket. Mesh tape is knitted into circular configuration and flattened to form the gasket. Alco-Knit Tape is supplied in standard wire alloys, widths and continuous lengths. The suppleness of the mesh tape makes shielding for cables and harness assemblies easy to wrap. Overlapping fifty percent of the tape increases the overall integrity of the shielding effectiveness and durability. Allow two inches of mesh tape at the beginning and end for termination purposes. Tape applications include shielding, prevention of static discharge, electrical, cable and harness assemblies. Alco-Knit Tape is supplied in cut to length strips or on rolls.
